Built in 1921, the Grand Bank lighthouse has been photographed hundreds of times by professionals and amateurs alike. One can still see a dent on the B in the word Bank, a reminder of a collision between a sailing schooner and the lighthouse. Along the waterfront tourists can stop and "yarn" with the older fishermen and schooner men. Many of the buildings used in the salt fish trade still stand.
