Most of the Peninsula is accessible because of its crown land.
There is an abundance and variety of natural resources such as fish and wildlife.
The Peninsula provides many areas for berry picking. (Bake apples, partridgeberries, blueberries, etc.)
Along the Burin Peninsula highway, there exist many areas for natural lookouts.
The Peninsula is surrounded by water and has many rivers and ponds throughout it providing high quality fishing.
