A Community Development Corporation, set up in the Town of Grand Bank in 1991, is a non-profit corporation dedicated to the development of businesses and industries within the community that will create long-term employment.

The corporation administers a fund allocated to the town of Grand Bank by the Federal Government in lieu of the downturn of the fisheries in Atlantic Canada.

The staff of the corporation offers a full range of business counseling and technical assistance.
